Archana Rao
Archana Rao is a Gynaecological Oncologist based in Brisbane. She gained RANZCOG Certification in Gynaecological Oncology in 2014 and has experience of Fellowship training in a number of different settings, including advanced laparoscopy, gynaecological oncology and peritonectomy units. She is the current Chair of the RANZCOG CGO Subcommittee.
She has sought to further her interest in surgical training through enrolment in the Master of Surgical Education Program at the University of Melbourne. She is currently in her final semester, undertaking a minor thesis project examining the challenges of early career CGO’s in Australia and New Zealand in making the transition to consultant practice.
